Person Robbed at Car Wash; Police Search For Suspect

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Police have asked for help in identifying a man they believe robbed and shot at a person using a car wash.

The robbery happened last week at the National Car Wash on Gallatin Pike.According to police, the victim was vacuuming his car when the suspect approached him and demanded his belongings.

The pair struggled for a minute, but once the victim ran away, that’s when police said the suspect fired shots toward the victim. The victim was not hit.

The suspect had a female passenger. Police said they drove away from the car wash in a black/grey primered 2-door Chevrolet Camaro.

Surveillance footage showed that the suspect later returned to the car wash alone with the license plate removed from the car. He then again pointed the gun at the victim then drove away.

Police described the suspect as a 6’3”, 155lb. white male with brown hair. Witnesses told police he was under the influence at the time of the robbery.
