A pizza delivery driver was robbed and carjacked at gunpoint in Nashville early Wednesday morning.
Metro Nashville police were called to a Mapco gas station off of Murfreesboro Pike and Thompson Place at about 1:15 a.m.
Officers said a delivery driver was taking a pizza to an apartment complex nearby.
As he was heading back to his vehicle, investigators said two or three men showed guns and told him to put his hands on his car. That's when, investigators said, the suspects took the man's money, cell phone, and then drove away in his Nissan Altima.
The delivery driver was able to walk to the nearby Mapco to call for help. He wasn't hurt in the incident.
No suspect description was available.
