Plan For Tiny Village Moves Forward

The controversial project of a tiny village to house Nashville's homeless was passed in a zoning appeal hearing despite strong opposition.

Neighbors tried to appeal the proposal to build 22 micro homes at Glencliff United Methodist Church.

However, the zoning board denied the appeal, citing both federal and state law, which allows churches to use their land in any way that serves their central mission, and Glencliff's includes serving the homeless.
