LAWRENCEBURG, Tenn. (WTVF) — A plane landed on a busy highway near Lawrenceburg for a school program.
Burt Staggs with Tennessee River Valley News reports the pilot was bringing a student pilot to Lawrence County High.
School officials said the pilot was supposed to land on a street behind the high school, but it landed miles away along Highway 43 instead for an unknown reason.
It does not appear as though it was an emergency landing, and fortunately, no one was hurt.
The incident is under investigation.
