FRANKLIN, Tenn. – A wanted man accused of molesting a 13-year-old in Franklin has been taken into custody.
Officials with Franklin police said Thursday that 35-year-old Silvestre Orpeza-Balderas was wanted for aggravated statutory rape. He surrendered himself to authorities at the Williamson County Courthouse.
According to the orginial release, police thought he could be fleeing to Mexico, but they have confirmed he has been arrested.

Orpeza-Balderas has been accused of molesting a 13-year-old family friend.
Additional charges are expected to be filed in the case.
