Police give all-clear after investigating suspicious package at Walmart

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — A Nashville Walmart was briefly evacuated as police investigated a suspicious package Monday.

Metro Nashville Police officers were called to a Walmart on Charlotte Pike to investigate a suspicious package.

The investigation prompted a detour for WeGo customers.

Officials later gave the all clear when they learned that the package was a seismograph being placed in the area due to the blasting at a future Metro Water site nearby. All clear!
