NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — A police K9 made a major marijuana bust at Nashville International Airport.
According to an affidavit from BNA Police, the K9 smelled drugs inside two bags that arrived on a flight around 3 p.m. Wednesday.
A suspect, identified as Toney Le, claimed the bags and after a search, police said they found more than 28 pounds of high-grade marijuana inside each of them. He had just arrived on a flight from Las Vegas via Los Angeles.
Le allegedly admitted the bags were his but said the contents did not belong to him. He also claimed he did not pack the bags.
He was arrested on a felony drug charge.
