Police have asked the public’s help in identifying a suspect who allegedly stole electronics from a display that was set up to honor homicide victims.

Officials with Clarksville Police said the theft happened on December 14 between 7:50 p.m. and 7:57 p.m. at the Montgomery County Public Library on Pageant Lane.

A 32-inch flat screen TV and a DVD player were stolen from the Wings of Love display – set up so families of 423 homicide victims could come together to remember their loved ones.

Police said each family hung an ornament on the Christmas tree at the library.

The suspect was seen on surveillance video wearing two different shirts.

He entered in a green sweatshirt and left wearing a dark hoodie. He has the same jeans and shoes on in the images.
