Officers with the Metro Nashville Police Department have responded to the possible kidnapping of a woman in East Nashville.
According to police, it happened around 2 p.m. at the Shell station on the 1000 block of Shelby Avenue.
The call came into dispatch as an adult female who had possibly been kidnapped.
Witnesses at the gas station told officers they saw a woman get "snatched at the gas station" and a silver impala took off.
Police believed it was a domestic situation and that the male driver was heading to Rutherford County with the woman.
