Detectives have asked for the public’s help in identifying two men wanted for questioning in a robbery near Brentwood.

Officials with Metro Nashville Police said someone approached two different women minutes apart from one another at the Arbors of Brentwood on Brentwood Terrace.

In the first case, a 26-year-old woman was approached by person, whom she said was armed with a gun, while in her car in the parking lot just before 10 p.m.

She said the suspect knocked on her window and ordered her to give him her purse.

The suspect ran after seeing the victim’s dog inside the car.  She reported seeing three young men prior to the attempt.

Minutes later, a 25-year-old woman parked near her building was robbed while she was getting her bags from her car.

A man demanded her purse, and she handed it over. The next day, her stolen iPhone was located at a wireless phone store on Old Hickory Boulevard in South Nashville where it had been sold by two men.

They arrived at the store in a white Dodge Avenger.

Prior to the robberies Monday night, a resident at the apartment complex reported seeing three men in a White Dodge Avenger behaving suspiciously.

Two men were wanted for questioning.  Officers asked anyone recognizing the two men or who has information about the robberies to contact Crime Stoppers at 615-742-7463.
