Investigators with the Metro Nashville Police Department have asked for the public's help in finding a driver that put a person in the hospital in critical condition after a hit and run crash.
It happened on 11th Avenue North near Charlotte Pike early Sunday morning.
Detectives said 31-year-old Bradley Wimmer, who was visiting Nashville from Columbus, Ohio, was crossing 11th Ave.North eastbound around 2:15 a.m. when he was hit.
The vehicle was described as a gold or tan SUV, possibly a 2005 model Chevrolet Suburban.
Evidence at the scene indicated that the vehicle sustained damage on the driver side and may be missing the driver side mirror.
Wimmer was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center where he was in critical but stable condition.
