Police Search For East Nashville Stabbing Suspect

Officials with the Metro Nashville Police Department have asked for the public's help in identifying the suspect believed to be responsible for a stabbing.

The incident happened over the weekend of Nov. 12 at the victim's apartment on the 100 block of Russell Street in East Nashville around 3:20 a.m.

Police said the 24-year-old victim’s roommates heard him yell out during the attack. They found him at the bottom of a stairway, critically injured.

He was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center where he remained in serious but stable condition.

The man, who is wanted for questioning, was described as a white man in his 30s or 40s. He was said to be bald on top with short hair on the sides with facial hair, standing about 5’8” tall.

Investigators asked anyone who may recognize him to call Crime Stoppers at 615-742-7463. Callers to Crime Stoppers can remain anonymous and qualify for a cash reward.
