Missing Kentucky Toddler Found 2 Miles From Home

Search and rescue volunteers found a missing toddler two miles from his home in Casey County.

Officials with the Kentucky State Police asked for the public's help in finding a missing toddler southwest of Hustonville Monday evening.

The initial investigation indicated that the one-year-old Logain Chumbley, may have walked away from his home around 9:00 a.m. Monday on Upper Brush Creek Road.

The volunteers found the child around 8 p.m. that night. transported to Ephraim McDowell Hospital in Danville for treatment of minor injuries and precautionary observation.

Officials searched the area with canines and helicopters. The Casey County Sheriff's Office, Lincoln County Sheriff's Office, and search & rescue volunteers aided in the search.
