Missing Mt. Juliet 9-Year-Old Found

A Mt. Juliet 9-year-old who went missing from his home was found safe.

A citizen connected to Mt. Juliet's Nixle Alerts spotted the child near Rutland Elementary school. Staff at Rutland Elementary then took the child into safety around 6:35 p.m. 

Officers with the Mt. Juliet Police Department searched for the 9-year-old who went missing from his home at Century of Providence Apartments. 

The child was reported missing around 6 p.m. Tuesday, and has since been seen throughout nearby neighborhoods.

Officials said he was last seen near S Rutland Road and Providence Trail around 6:10 p.m. possibly not wearing any clothing.

However, his parents last saw him wearing an orange and gray sweater and blue jeans.

The boy was described as a 9-year-old black male, approximately 4’10” feet tall, 60-70 pounds and has black hair and brown eyes.

He could be anywhere in the Providence, Del Webb, and Belinda City neighborhoods.
