Police searching for man who approached children in Hendersonville

HENDERSONVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Police have asked the public’s help for information after a man approached two children in a Hendersonville subdivision.

The incident happened at 3 p.m. Wednesday at the Meadows of Indian Lake subdivision.

Police said a 14-year-old and a 12-year-old were walking their dog when an older male approached them and said he had something for them. The children ran back to their home and called their parents.

Investigators said the intentions of the man are still unclear.

Police urged parents to remind children how to respond if they’re in a similar situation.
