Officials with the Clarksville Police Department have warned the elderly in their city of particular criminals targeting them.
Police said they knew of only two incidents so far, but they were worried it is a crime going unreported.
One or more scammers have forced their way into homes of older residents by attempting to sell linoleum or antiques.
When the victim wasn’t looking, they scammer stole money or medication from the home.
