NASHVILLE, Tenn. – A woman accused of injuring two people in a high-stakes game of chicken told police she only wanted to “scare” the other driver.

An argument apparently broke out between two people on Village Drive in Nashville. As they drove away in separate cars, the altercation reportedly intensified.

The suspect, identified as Naketi Carahan, turned her gold Cadillac right into the oncoming lane of the victim in an apparent game of chicken.

Two passengers, including her 14-year-old niece, were inside the car at the time.

At the last second, Carahan reportedly swerved to avoid a collision, but she lost control, hit a tree and flipped her car. One passenger was ejected from the car and injured.

Police arrived on the scene and arrested Carahan, who said she just wanted to scare the other driver.

She's now booked on a charge of reckless endangerment.

Her photo was not immediately available.
