NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Human remains that were found in Antioch Thursday have now been identified.
Metro Nashville Police say a man who stopped to pick up a car part on the side of Benzing Road found a woman's decomposing remains. She was found the the area of the 500 block of the road.
After working to identify who the woman is, police have determined it to be 28-year-old Nina Pemerton of Columbia, Tenn.
The medical examiner's office is working to determine the cause of Pemerton's death.
