Nashville Predator women spent the day volunteering at the Second Harvest Food Bank.

The group was wives and girlfriends of players, coaches, and broadcasters.

On Tuesday, they stuffed backpacks full of food and other items for children who may not have enough food at home.

"The Nashville Predators fan base is very passionate about our team and we find it very important to give back to our fans, and that's volunteering. We do special spaces which is re-doing rooms for kids with chronically and terminal illness; so any way that we can give back to show our commitment and our passion for our community and our city," said Rebecca King.

The Predators big initiative for community outreach is focused on "Youth and Family."
