Even though Tropical Storm Cindy has brought rain and storms to Nashville, it won't dampen the Smashville spirit during the Predators' NHL draft party at Bridgestone Arena.
The party kicked off Friday at 4 p.m. Fans were able to write cards and record video thank-you messages for the Preds players and coaches, take part in a public skate and even tour the Preds locker room.

The draft is set for 7 p.m. in Chicago, and will air on the NBC Sprots Network, but fans will be able to watch it in Bridgestone for free.
