A pursuit ended when a suspect crashed a stolen vehicle in Hendersonville, causing major delays on Vietnam Veterans Boulevard.
The incident was reported early Wednesday morning near New Shackle Island Road.
Hendersonville Police confirmed one person was arrested after allegedly stealing a car in Lebanon.
The pursuit was prompted after a Wilson County Sheriff’s officer spotted the stolen vehicle. The chase continued into Sumner County, where Hendersonville police deployed spike strips.
At some point the suspect crashed and was taken into custody.
No serious injuries were reported. One deputy sustained a cut to his hand while getting the suspect out of the vehicle.
Traffic delays were reported in westbound lanes.
