The Green Hills Library gave kids some reading practice by reading to dogs in an event called Reading Paws.
For many kids, reading out loud to people can be intimidating. So to help ease them into the process, the library gave them an audience.
Children and canines got together Saturday at a private reading room for some practice.
One mother said her children learned English in just 10 months, and she attributes that accomplishment to reading.
"Reading is, in my opinion, reading is one of the most important thing in their life, in children's life. So I hope they enjoy reading and they found something fun in reading," said Yun Jung Uhm.
The Reading Paws event takes place every second and fourth Saturday of the month.
