Austria-based energy drink, Red Bull, have announced plans to open a regional office in Nashville.
Owners of a building in the Gulch have confirmed the company has signed a lease on a property on the corner of Gleaves Street and 9th Avenue South, close to Peg Leg Porker and Yazoo Brewery.
The company planned to open the office around October or November.
The office will house regional executive offices. It was not clear how many employees Red Bull planned to locate at the new space.
Building architect, Pfeffer Torode Architecture & Stan Snipes, said Red Bull planned to lease approximately 2,300 square feet of the building. Scout’s Barber Shop and Rudy’s Jazz Room also have space at the building.
Other projects in the immediate area include an apartment buildings at 1000 Division Street and 777 8th Avenue South. A 12-story hotel from Commune Hotels & Resorts has already begun construction, and 38-story residential building has been proposed that could include up to 550 units.
