NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Listen up, movie lovers - there's a new way to watch! Regal at Opry Mills is now showing movies in 4DX. The sign outside the theater looks like a weather forecast, with a strong of rain, fog, snow and ticklers!
"This theater is completely changed. It now has moving seats, the full immersive technology that is 4DX," said Richard Grover, Vice President of Communications for Regal, "Opry Mills is a true entertainment destination for the Nashville area it just made sense for us to bring it here."
Grover says the newly outfitted theater has moving seats and weather effects, even scents, that put you in the center of the action.
Nashville is the 17th location but there are big plans to build more. In the next few years, 85 theaters in the US will have 4DX technology.
"If your movie goer and you love going to the movies there's nothing out there like this," he said.
