NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — U.S. Rep. Jim Cooper will seek re-election in 2020.
Cooper’s press secretary, Chris Carroll, said Tuesday that he’s “honored to represent Cheatham, Davidson, and Dickson counties in Congress, and he looks forward to running for re-election in 2020.”
Cooper has served Tennessee’s 5th congressional district since 2003. He won his re-election bid back in November, carrying 67.8 percent of the vote.
