Because of overcrowding at the Animal Rescue Corps shelter in Lebanon, volunteers asked for donations to help take care of the more than 100 animals in their care.
The shelter has taken in 130 animals from three different rescues: a dog fighting ring in West Tennessee, an abuse case in Lebanon and an overcrowded shelter in Louisiana.
Volunteers requested used sheets, towels and blankets for their furry friends. They also requested volunteers to help care for the rescues.
Anyone wanting to take donations to the shelter can visit 1420 Toshiba Drive Suite 300 in Lebanon which is open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
