Reward offered in counterfeit money case

FRANKLIN, Tenn. (WTVF) — Franklin Police officials are offering a reward in a counterfeit money case.

They are trying to identify a woman who they say used counterfeit money at two businesses.

The woman allegedly used a fake $50 bill to make a small purchase at Franklin's Learning Express and a fake $50 bill at the Murfreesboro Road Chik-fil-A.

She was seen getting into a silver Toyota Camry.

Anyone who may be able to identify her was asked to call Crime Stoppers: (615) 794-4000 or click to submit an anonymous eTip. Franklin Police said a cash reward was being offered for information, but did not specify the reward amount.
