McGavock High School held a ribbon cutting for its new criminal justice lab.
The event was held Friday with students and school officials. The refurbished lab provides some pretty advanced forensic tools to give students access to things like ballistics testing and DNA sampling.
Students will get hands-on experience, college and career preparation, industry certifications and even early college credit.
