NASHVILLE, Tenn. - One Mid-State college has made some upgrades to accommodate its growing student body.
Belmont University officially cut the ribbon on its new Dining and Academic complex Saturday.
The new R. Milton and Denise Johnson building was unveiled as a 134,000 square-foot, $87 million structure that will house the Curb College of Entertainment and Music Business, the media studies program, a new cafeteria, and an underground parking garage.
“The students, they now have world class facilities,” said Bob Fisher, Belmont University President. “They have almost untold potential to develop their skills and their abilities with the latest technology, the latest equipment, that we were able to build into this building.”
Classes have been set to start at Belmont on August 26.
