Frightening moments for a rideshare driver who was shot on the job.
Police say it happened around 11 p.m. on Friday around the Knowles and Dr. DB Todd area. A preliminary investigation shows the woman was driving for one of the rideshare apps such as Uber or Lyft.
While in the car, the passenger pulled out a gun and attempted to rob her. The victim attempted to get her pepper spray when the suspect shot her. The woman was shot in the arm and foot.
Right now, officers are the looking for the suspect because they ran away from the scene.
