A volunteer firefighter was charged with the arson of the very building he was called out to extinguish.
According to Robertson County officials, David Akers was one of several firefighters who responded to a tobacco barn fire in Cedar Hill last week.
Yet, investigators said the 34-year-old was responsible for starting the blaze.
Akers was indicted and arrested Tuesday.
