A complete stranger traveled more than 600 miles just to put a smile on the face of a little girl who lost her father.

Shannon Parson and his wife travel the country making and delivering custom-made rocking horses for the children of officers killed in the line of duty.

A rocking horse was specially made for the daughter of Sergeant Daniel Baker. The Dickson County deputy was killed in late May.

Parson said the 664-mile round trip was worth every minute to watch Baker's daughter smile and kiss the rocking horse.

Parson said their next journey was taking them to Florida where two families of fallen officers will receive a few surprises.
