MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WTVF) — A one-month-old in Rutherford County tested positive for COVID-19. Health officials reported the child's positive results Thursday.
The case was initially identified in Davidson County, but Metro Health Department spokesperson Brian Todd said a Metro epidemiologist made contact Thursday with baby's family, who confirmed they live in Rutherford County.
The case, he said, will be updated and transferred to the Mid-Cumberland region. The infant's mother said the baby became sick on Sunday but is at home and eating well.
