CHARLOTTE, Tenn. - The Dickson County School Board passed a resolution regarding the district's flag policy.
The resolution expressed support of their student's First Amendment rights as long as it doesn't disrupt class.
The school board found themselves at the center of a nationwide controversy after a rule that called for the removal of flags from vehicles.
The rule came during the debate over the Confederate flag, but was extended to all flags.
Despite the resolution, the policy remained in effect.
