Two of three Macon County escapees has surrendered to authorities after an intense manhunt. He had recently been added to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation’s Most Wanted list.

Fugitive Dylan Ferguson, age 19, turned himself in to authorities in Trousdale County on Thursday after he and two others escaped from the Macon County Jail.

Matt White was later captured in Bowling Green. Jeffrey Strong remained at large.

Macon County officials said they would continue searching for them with the help of the TBI and U.S. Marshals. He was considered dangerous.

"We're going to be here as long as it takes to get these inmates back into jail where they belong and protect the citizens of our community," said Chief Deputy Bryon Satterfield.

Officials asked neighbors in Macon County to lock their doors and report anything suspicious to the sheriff's office.

Tennessee Highway Patrol officials initially said one had been caught but later retracted that statement Wednesday, saying they had been given incorrect information.

Wednesday morning, officials with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation confirmed Ferguson had been added to the Top 10 Most Wanted list.

Ferguson had been arrested on charges of homicide, attempted escape, vandalism and arson. White was jailed on charges of evading arrest, burglary, theft of property, failure to appear and having a revoked bond. Strong was booked on multiple theft charges and a probation violation.

Anyone with information was asked to call the Macon County Sheriff’s Office.
