NASHVILLE, Tenn. – A search is underway west of Nashville for a suspect who robbed a store clerk at gunpoint.
The incident happened early Wednesday morning at a Tigermart on Highway 70 South in Bellevue.
Officials with Metro Police said a man wearing a bandanna around his face walked into the store and robbed the clerk at gunpoint. He was able to get away with cash from the register.
No one was hurt in the robbery.
The suspect took off and ran behind the building. Officers have set up a perimeter around the store.
A description of the suspect was not immediately available.
The suspect remains at large. No additional details were known.
