SEC Tournament Generates More Than $19 Million

The SEC Men’s Basketball Tournament brought nearly $20 million into the Music City - $19,966,738 to be exact.

On Wednesday, officials with the Nashville Sports Council released the final numbers of the March event.

The tournament brought more than 182,000 fans to Bridgestone Arena, who spent an average of $268 per day.

There was even an impact from those who didn't go to the games. Non-ticketed visitors spent an additional $1.5 million.

The SEC Men's Tournament was set to be held in Nashville again next year.
