A semi driver and her passenger were arrested after their truck veered off the interstate and crashed into a garbage truck in Goodlettsville.
Officials said the truck was traveling on Interstate 65 when it plowed down a hill, through a fence, and into a ditch - hitting a garbage truck in the process.
No one was hurt.
Officers said they arrived and smelled marijuana so they brought out a drug sniffing dog, which alerted them to a small amount of pot inside the truck.
The female driver and male passenger were both arrested. Police said he is a convicted felon and had a gun on him. Neither of their identities was known.
Both vehicles had to be towed from the scene.
