Six homeless residents at Fort Negley were given more time to fight citations they received from the city.
Their cases were postponed today, but Mayor Megan Barry said the city's plan for the area where those people live was the same.
The $50 citations were issued on Sunday. Metro crews cleaned up the park as part of a bigger project, and that clean up meant a clear out of tents.
The city said the campers could store their belongings at Greer Stadium while they try and find a new place to live.
