NASHVILLE, Tenn. – A broken pipe caused several customers to go without water Thursday morning in Hermitage. One Metro school has been affected by the main break.

Residents on Chandler Road, between Andrew Jackson Parkway and Tulip Grove Road, seemed to be most affected by the water line break.

Joe Bass, spokesman for Metro Nashville Public Schools, said Dodson Elementary, located on Chandler Road, was affected. Crews are there working to fix the problem.

Officials with Metro Water Services confirmed 50 customers were without water due to the 8-inch water line break.

Crews were on site and working to repair the pipe.

There was no immediate time frame for when the water would be back on.

No additional details were known.
