A Silver Alert has been issued for a man who went missing from his home in Sumner County.
Officials with the Sumner County Sheriff’s Office said 82-year-old Jackie L. McGuire was last seen at his home on Highway 31E in Westmoreland Sunday morning.
Family members apparently visited the man around the time he was last seen, but did not realize until later that he and his car were missing.
Deputies said McGuire suffers from early dementia and Parkinson’s disease. He has been described as a white male with grey hair, standing 5 feet 9 inches and weighing around 198 pounds.
McGuire’s vehicle was described as a 2005 red Toyota Camry with Tennessee license plate LDSZMM.
Anyone with information about McGuire’s whereabouts has been asked to contact the Sumner County Sheriff’s Office at 615-452-2616 or by calling 911 emergency dispatchers.
