NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Human skeletal remains were found in Nashville around noon Friday.
Officials with the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department said the remains indicated no sign of injury to the body, or violence in the area.
The remains were located off of 12th Avenue South near Interstate 40.
Police said a homeless advocacy worker and a homeless man discovered the remains while looking for a suitable place to set up camp.
MNP officials said the Medical Examiner will conduct further testing on the remains.
