GATLINBURG, Tenn. (WTVF) — The Skybridge in Gatlinburg is expected to reopen following an incident Monday night.
Gatlinburg SkyLift Park says someone didn’t follow the rules of “no running, jumping, or bouncing” and tried to do a “baseball-style” slide across the glass.
Metal on their clothes hit the clear glass panels in the middle, chipping them and causing cracks in the protective top layer.
Repairs are expected to wrap up Tuesday morning.
