SMYRNA, Tenn. (WTVF) — Rutherford County authorities have confirmed that Smyrna Vice Mayor Marc Adkins is facing a DUI charge.
The Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office said the Tennessee Highway Patrol charged Adkins, Thursday morning. Additional details of his arrest weren’t immediately provided.
He was booked in Rutherford County Adult Detention Center and later released.
A hearing has been scheduled for Jan. 29 in General Sessions Court.
