FRANKLIN, Tenn. - A new attraction has been set to open in Franklin, and it's all about heights.

The Soar Adventure Tower on Carothers Parkway has been scheduled to open to the public Saturday.

It's the first full-sized aerial adventure park in the U.S. featuring a 50 foot tall, 10,000 square-foot facility.

The four-story tower was set to have several different climbing elements for both kids and adults, and it’s expected to be a great place for school field trips and family outings.

“We have 120 different climbing elements, but the elements are rated in difficulty,” said Kevin Vanderkolk, the owner of the facility. “We have easy elements, we have some moderate elements, and we have some harder elements, and you choose your own course.”

The adventure tower has been scheduled to open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday.
