A woman’s photo of a soldier standing at attention in the pouring rain during a funeral procession in Kentucky has gone viral.
Erin Hester posted the photo on July 6 and so far, it’s been shared more than 129,000 times.
Hester said the solder went “above and beyond” by standing at attention in the rain for the duration of the procession.
According to CNN, stopping a car during a procession or abstaining from passing is not only considered a sign of respect, it's also the law in Kentucky.
