MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - A musician and son of a Country Music Hall of Fame artist has been arrested on a DUI charge in Murfreesboro.
According to an arrest report, police were called when 61-year-old Charlie Louvin, Jr. staggered into a store and urinated on himself before driving off in a van.
Officers stopped Louvin on Interstate 24 and arrested him on DUI and drug charges.
Louvin is the son of country music singer and songwriter Charlie Louvin.
He was best known for his time as a member of the Louvin Brothers and was a member of the Grand Ole Opry from 1955 until his death in 2011. The Louvin Brothers were inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2001.
