Southern Festival Of Books Wraps Up In Nashville

Posted

Thousands of bookworms united for an annual event in downtown Nashville.

The 29th annual Southern Festival of Books wrapped up Sunday at War Memorial Plaza.

The event featured discussions with authors, used book sales, and story time for kids.

Organizers said the event has continued to grow every year.

“From the smallest children up to adults, any kind of genre or kind of books you like to read, we have something here for you,” said Tim Henderson, Executive Director of Humanities Tennessee.

Organizers said the festival will be back next year. In the meantime, they will continue to sponsor other reading-related programs throughout the city.
