CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — A School Resource Officer who's been giving back to local schools for years will be retiring, but before he goes he held his final bake sale for students.

Deputy Richard Brown hosts bake sales often to raise money for students in Middle and High school in Clarksville.

He hosted his final bake sale Friday.

Brown has raised more than $50,000 for students, all by selling brownies he makes on his own time.

The cash has been used to help students travel to Washington, D.C., buy new uniforms and supplies for teams and clubs, and fund school dances.

He'll retire at the end of the year.
