Stanley Cup Tours Broadway Honky Tonks

The Stanley Cup stands 2 feet 11 inches tall, weighs 35 pounds and brought Music City to a frenzy during the Stanley Cup Final.

As the Nashville Predators hit the ice for Game 2 in Pittsburg, the trophy they played for made it's rounds in Nashville on Wednesday.

The first stop was Legends Corner bar where singer/song writer John Rich got the crowd pumped. He and everybody else wants the cup to stay here for the summer.

"When they win, everybody gets the cup for one day, have you heard this story? So I'm assuming the cup is going to wind up up and down Broadway and be indoctrinated into the country music life style down here in Nashville," Rich said.

A couple doors down at Tootsies, the Stanley Cup gleamed on display in front of Bridgestone Arena. Nashville native Ally Haid was doing her best to follow it down Broadway.

"I'm not even going to lie about it, I cried seeing it at Legends. The last time I saw it I was 3-years-old and it was 1998," Haid laughed.

She's grown up with the franchise and believes this year will be the Predator's year to win it all.
